Some of you may have seen the episode of Top Gear on Sunday 13th of June where Jeremy Clarkson demonstrated the poorness of the Cadillac CTS by wrapping his knuckles on the shell of the car. It emitted a tinny chime worthy of a Citroën AX. It did indeed sound very cheap. This gave me an idea: Perhaps all the hassle of weighing up the quality of a car through lengthy test driving could be done away with simply by employing this simple test. Of course, the test has to be fair and consistent so within this website I present to you "The Clarkson Clonk Test" and how it should be performed. It's a quick and simple way of judging a car's virtue without all that needless fannying about with test-driving and proper research.
